I've lost my license, what do I do?

Use the license recovery form to have it sent to your email.

What do I get with a purchased license?

The free trial lets you enter up to 7 groups and 70 tasks. A license will unlock unlimited groups/tasks. All minor updates are free (ie. 1.1 to 1.2) but major upgrades (ie. 1.x to 2.0) will be given at a discounted price for license owners.

How do I get started using ActionGear?

After you download and install the app, a new gear icon will appear on your Mac's top right menu. You can also hit ⌥-Space as a shortcut.

How do I backup my data?

All data and attachments for ActionGear is located in this directory: /Users/<your username>/Library/Application Support/ActionGear/. Be sure to backup this directory to keep your data safe.

Why can't I ⌘-Tab to ActionGear?

ActionGear stays out of your dock and out of the normal application list, so you can't ⌘-Tab to it. Instead, use the global hotkey (⌥-Space by default) to show/hide your tasks.

Are you working on an iPhone version?

Yup! An iPhone version that will sync with ActionGear is currently being developed. The expected release date is January 2009.
